I've pretty much always had a passion for writing. I remember sitting down to my mom's old typewriter and typing little stories to amuse myself. I can still remember the sound of the clacking of the keys, the smell of the ink, and the sticky staining black ink on my fingers when I would try and adjust the ribbon. There's a fabulous book, The Artist's Way, that talks about the fact that we neglect to fuel our own passions and how to do so again. This can be as simple as grabbing a notebook and sketching or as complex as going out and buying a brand new camera. What are you doing to feed your passions? It might seem a little silly right now to even think of that sort of thing. However, feeding our passions helps feed our souls and our minds. It helps fill our cups. And you can't pour anything from an empty cup, as the saying goes. So what are you doing? Stuck for ideas? If you're struggling, comment and maybe I can help out. If you have been doing little things to fuel your passions, what have you been doing?
